For the Tamlen fan club's What If? contest.
Made me think how about what it would be like if both Tamlan and Mahariel had been rescued and made Grey Wardens together (Oh they would have been so b****y to everyone at Ostagar but they at least would have each other to talk to and confide in) But then I wondered what Tamlen's reaction would be when Mahariel starts a romance?
Brotherly protection? Jealousy? A little bit of both~?
Tamlen is tall for an elf in my head-canon, with all his warrior-ness. And he would totally not-trust the assassin alone with his Lathalin/Lethalan, not without a strict talking-to first, we all know how well a strict talking-to works with Zev.
